Trese is a Netflix Original Animation Series. It is based on the Philippine folklore of the same name. The series is about a young girl who fights against supernatural beings and creatures in order to protect her home in Manila from being taken over by monsters.

The series features Filipino culture, folklore, and mythology. It was created by Filipino artists from different parts of the country. The series was written by Shaira Mella Salvador and directed by Eric Quizon.
